GLOBE LIFE AND ACCIDENT INSURANCE COMPANY REVIEW: SUCCESS OR FAILURE?

Globe Life and Insurance Company has been around for over 50 years, benefiting seniors (mostly) and earning complaints from them in equal measure.

From a first glance, it looks like a good choice with its catchy slogan and simple-looking appearance. However, it is essential to do some due research before you give it a try.

That’s why we have offered you this globe life and accident insurance company review.

It would be interesting to note that, as per statistics, at least a quarter of the aged USA population can vouch for the company’s credibility. A majority frown at its insane costs and minimal coverage alternatives.

More about the Company

Globe Life is the ideal company for you if you seek final expense with limited underwriting. If, however, you are healthy or desire a larger death benefit for income replacement after you die, it may not do the trick.

It only provides coverage with zero medical exam, which means that you will pay higher rates for a similar death benefit if you are healthy than you would at an insurer with full underwriting.

Though it earned a rating of A+ from the trusted A.M. Best, the unusually high number of complaints is enough to raise a red flag.

Globe Life Insurance Company Products

Globe Life offers a number of products, but in this Globe life and accident insurance company review, we shall focus on the three main ones:

  • Team Life for Adults
  • Whole Life Insurance
  • Whole Life Insurance for Children

Team Life for Adults

This product is available to adults within the age bracket of 18 to 79. It provides coverage amounts ranging from $5,000 to $100,000.

What’s more, its policies are issued in five-year terms and can be renewed for other five-year terms until you reach age 90.

Their policy dictates that you must complete a medical history questionnaire that indicates that you are in reasonably good health before you receive approval. However, no physical examination is needed.

Whole Life Insurance

As in the Team Life for Adults product, you have to be 18 to 79 years old to qualify for this product.

Its coverage levels begin at $5,000 and run up to $50,000, making it comparable to other carriers’ funeral insurance policies. Additionally, the coverage is simplified-issue, meaning that only a written screening application is needed.

As a whole life insurance cover, Globe Life Company’s policy features available policy loans, cash value that increases over time, and fixed premiums and benefits for life.

Whole Life Insurance for Children

This product is available for individuals up to the age of 24. Its coverage levels range from $5,000 to $30,000 and are available in increments of $5,000.

The main advantage of this product in our globe life and accident insurance company review is that it allows parents to lock in life insurance coverage for their children. This protects the kids for the rest of their lives at fixed premium rates much lower than the adult option.

Once the insured child turns 18, they can claim ownership of the policy or use the saved cash in whichever way they want.
