Marketing can be a difficult thing for some businesses. Normally, I find companies struggle when they try and use generic ideas. They read common tips online, and try to apply them to their business. While this is a good idea for new businesses, there’s only so far it can take you. Eventually, you need to look for new and exciting ideas.
And, that’s where this article becomes relevant. I’ve got three innovative marketing ideas that everyone should try. Check them out here:
Take Brochures To The Next Level
Creating brochures is a simple and effective way or marketing your business. You get to provide people with information on your company, and any upcoming products/events you have planned. The beauty of brochures is that you can hand them out on the street or post them through letter boxes. A lot of businesses also use them at business events. You create one that explains the purpose of the event, and what your business will be doing. It’s a great way to generate interest and get a big crowd forming at an exhibition.
Now, you could make a nice, neat, brochure and leave it as it is. Or, you can take your brochures to the next level. Instead of a conventional one, you create video brochures. These are brochures that work like normal ones but have a video screen built into them. People can play or pause the screen, as it shows them content. It’s an incredible way of impressing your clients, and bringing in new customers. Imagine posting a brochure through someone’s door, and they open it to find a video they can play! It definitely grabs their attention, and they’re more likely to read the brochure. Also, hand these out at exhibitions, and you’ll soon have a crowd of excited and intrigued people asking you about the brochures.
Upgrade Your Advertising Posters
For decades, people have used posters as a way of marketing their business. It’s clearly effective, as all major companies still do it today. Posters can draw people’s attention, and persuade them to buy products/services. The placement of your posters is very important. Stick them in places where lots of people will see them. Usually, bus stops and train stations are very popular locations. As well as outside big supermarkets.

Improve Your Use Of Social Media
It’s common for a lot of companies to use social media in a way that’s not fully effective. Posting content to promote your business is a good thing to do, sure. It gets your business out there and can grab people’s attention. Regular posting across all of your social media accounts is also a must for success. However, these two things won’t help you get the most out of social media marketing.
In addition to these things, you need user generated content. This is where your followers generate content and market your business for you. It’s a brilliant idea, as your company is being marketed for free! All you have to do is encourage your followers to talk about your business. Get them to upload pictures with any products they’ve bought. Alternatively, you can get user generated content by spending a bit of money too. Start a competition, and get people to tweet a picture with a new product you released. You’ll then pick a winner, after a day or two, and they get the prize. The price of the prize will be the only costs for you. This is a good idea as you can also make people follow you as part of the competition entry. So, you could gain new followers, and find more of your customers on social media too.
By using these innovative ideas, you can set your business apart from the rest. You’ll improve your struggling marketing strategy, and start seeing more benefits from your efforts.
